Gloria Margarita Piard, age 87, died on September 13, 2014. Born March 18, 1927 in Manzanillo, Oriente, Cuba, she lived in Havana before settling in Miami, Florida. She worked as a purchaser and sales representative for a clothing store until retiring in 1994. After retirement Gloria moved to Lehigh Acres, Florida. Survivors include her daughter and son in law Gloria and Gabriel Sanchez; granddaughters, Nicole Sanchez and Yamile Garcia; and great granddaughters Alanie and Ysabella. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Raul. Services were held at 10am, Friday September 19, 2014 at Saint Raphael Catholic Church, 2514 Lee Blvd, Lehigh Acres, 33971.
