Lehigh Acres Fire Department battled an early morning vehicle fire Saturday.
It happened in the 1100 block of Eisenhower Boulevard shortly after 2:30 a.m.
According to Lehigh Acres Fire officials, the owner of the pickup truck said he and his wife were sleeping when they heard an explosion. The couple went outside and found their GMC pickup truck on fire in the driveway.
The couples’ other vehicle also received some heat damage. However, their home was unharmed.
The Fire Marshal of the Lehigh Acres Fire Department will be investigating the cause.
