As one of their community service projects for the upcoming 2014-2015 year, the VEGHEADS, a 4-H youth group located in Lehigh Acres, is creating a FREE Edible Seed Library for Lee County residents. Veterans Park Recreational Center, a Lee Parks and Recreation facility, will host the VegHeads Edible Seed Library in Lehigh Acres. The seed library will be a free service to all Lee County residents.
The VegHeads need assistance with supplies to make this library a reality. Items needed include a special refrigerator to store seeds, a food dryer, desiccant, a food sealer, bulk seeds and office supplies.
