The Florida Highway Patrol reports this morning that Rojelio Villarreal was traveling northbound on Homestead Road South, north of Sunrise Boulevard, when for unknown reasons; he lost control of his pickup truck and struck a tree. The crash occurred 1:44 a.m.
Villarreal was pronounced dead at the scene.
