This Good Friday display was at a busy intersection Homestead Rd and Lee Blvd in Lehigh Acres early today.

Lee County Sheriff Deputies made the man get down.

What do you think? Is the display appropriate? Should he have been allowed to continue?

The First Amendment of the United States Constitution specifically allows peaceful demonstrations and the freedom of assembly as part of a measure to facilitate the redress of such grievances. “Amendment I: Congress shall make no law … abridging … the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

    Therefore, I given the facts, it was peacefully, therefore it should have stayed !

  2. We should not be afraid for all to see what God did for us, he gave his only son so we could have eternal life. Isn’t that what Good Friday and Easter teach us and to love each other as he loves us. Let the man display his beliefs this is America we are free.
