With nearly 26,500 voters living in Lehigh Acres in Congressional District 19, Curt Clawson will make his first visit to the community next Tuesday, April 15th. He will be hosting an old-fashioned Hotdog and beer, or soft drinks if you prefer, get together. “It’s free,” he said when asked about the event. It will be held at the Mirror Lakes Golf Course, starting at 5:30 pm.
When asked about coming here for the first time, Clawson said, “I feel bad about all the negative advertising, TV ads and mailings that everyone has been bombarded with during this race. I wanted to meet the voters here, get to know their concerns, and give them a chance to tell me what they expect from their next Congressman. I want them to see more than the dark side of politics”, he continued. “That’s why this get together is important to me! It’s a great location to meet people in a relaxing
atmosphere. I want them to leave their wallets and checkbooks at home, and just come and enjoy themselves Tuesday the 15th.”
