Helen Bledsoe, age 56, of Lehigh Acres, Florida passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 21, 2014 in the comfort and company of her many friends and adopted family at Kenzie Kare Group Home.
She was born in Cocoa Beach, Florida on March 26, 1957, to her proud parents Edna (Davis) and Willard Bledsoe.
Now on her journey to God, Helen leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Edna Cod and Jimmie; sister Donna Jordan and Billy; brother Grant Bledsoe and wife Beth; sister Sharon Hill and husband Ken from Soddy Daisy, Tennessee. Helen also leaves behind a host (10) of nieces and nephews also in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee.
Helen further leaves behind to mourn her adopted family at Kenzie Kare Group Home; Sally, Katherine, Darnetha, Brenda, Sandra, Latoya, and Judy. Staff members, Fatima, Lovely, Jacque, Obas, Eunide, Tameka, Manouchka, Molene, Josine, Meus Rupert Mckenzie Jr. ,Cassandra & Rupert Mckenzie Sr. and the many friends and Supports, Tiffany Attia (Support Coordinator) she received from APD (Agency for Persons with Disabilities).
Sadly, she is preceded in death by her father Willard Bledsoe who passed away on September 18, 1987.
A Memorial Gathering for Helen will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 28, 2014 in the chapel at Anderson-Patterson Cremation and Funeral Services, 2701 Lee Boulevard, Lehigh Acres, Florida 33971, (239) 368-7080. At 2:00 PM Pastor Robert Lockwood will officiate a Memorial Service in celebration of her life.
