Recently 4-H Junior Edible Gardening Club did a contest called Santa Garden, which was included in the November newsletter. We had people write to Santa why they wanted a veggie garden. We chose our winner, Jennifer Albert and her family, and on February 18th we installed it. Tomatoes, lettuce, garlic chives, and more… we planted many different veggies for a family who needed them. We put all of those in with soil we all mixed together. Together we finished our first 2014 community service project.
