Detectives with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit say a man discovered deceased Wednesday morning in Lehigh Acres was the victim of a homicide. The victim has been positively identified as Martin Eelman, a transient. Eelman was found in a field behind Reliance Bank off Inwood Avenue in Lehigh Acres.
Detectives have also made an arrest in the case. James Vaughan, a transient has been arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder.
