Rodney Ross is accused of stealing a car from Lehigh Acres and leading police on a short chase, then crashing in Fort Myers!
Ross faces several charges, including hit and run.
Officers say during the chase, Ross lost control of the 1994 Lincoln Towncar, hit a mailbox, then a light pole and finally a tree. The light pole exploded, which caused a power outage in the neighborhood.
Officers say Ross crawled out of the passenger window and ran. They eventually caught up with him and took him to jail.
