Pair Wanted in Killings
Booked into Lee County Jail

Steven Tompkins and Joycelin Luck

A Lehigh Acres man accused of killing his brother and mother is now in a Lee County jail cell, along with the woman he fled with, after being arrested in Wyoming.

Steven Tompkins and Joycelin Luck were picked up by a Wyoming Highway Patrol Trooper on Dec. 17 after the truck Tompkins stole ran out of gas on northbound Interstate 25 in Platte County.

They were booked into the Lee County Jail Tuesday night and are being held without bond.

Deputies say Tompkins killed his mother, 55-year-old Shelley Tompkins, and brother, 22-year-old Daniel Tompkins, on Dec. 10. He faces two counts of second-degree murder.
