A Lehigh Acres motorcyclist is in critical condition after crashing with a pickup on I 75, south of Daniels Parkway, in south Lee County.
The crash happened around 2:00 a.m.
The Florida Highway Patrol says James Timothy Stirk, was riding behind a pickup hauling a trailer in the northbound lanes of I-75.
FHP say Stirk failed to see the pickup slow down and crashed into the trailer.
Stirk was ejected onto the trailer. He was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital.
The accident was alcohol related, according to the FHP. Stirk was wearing a helmet.
The driver of the pickup was not injured.
