Lehigh Spring Festival Brings
Classic Rock Revival and The Sauce Boss To The Main Stage

This year’s Spring Festival entertainment is going to kick off with an unforgettable lineup.

Since 1990, the Sauce Boss has cooked gumbo for audiences all over the United States, Canada, and Europe, while simultaneously playing his own swampy Florida blues.  And at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 15 the Lehigh Spring Festival will bring him to the main stage to perform.  A Sauce Boss event transcends performance…it becomes a soul-shouting picnic of rock and roll brotherhood, involving everyone in the audience.  At the end of each show, everyone eats!  How cool is that?  You are invited to the Sauce Boss kitchen where he will be cooking up slide guitar blues and gumbo with a big splash of hot sauce.

Then, Santana meets The Doobie Brothers!  One incredible band performs two tributes in concert, and yes, folks, that band will be performing on the main stage at the Lehigh Spring Festival at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday night, March 15.  The Classic Rock Revival show brings back the energy and excitement of two of the most iconic American Rock bands of all times…Santana and The Doobie Brothers.  The show captures these bands in their prime, with the look, the sound, and the performance of multiple hits.  This is a show that you don’t want to miss.

Other Saturday events that you do not want to miss include the 4 mile race, the BBQ cook-off, our first ever craft show and Car Show, the Pet Show, and Lehigh’s famous Live N Learn Rock Band who will be opening for the Classic Rock Revival.  All of this AND the Sauce Boss AND the Classic Rock Revival show.  This is just one day of the festival, folks!  Please check the Lehigh Spring Festival website for times and for more of the exciting entertainment lineup planned throughout the week.

Here are some important dates to make note of.  The Lehigh Idol auditions will be held at 6:00 p.m. sharp on Monday, March 3, at Majestic Golf Club.  Auditions for Lehigh’s Got Talent will be the following

Tuesday, March 4, also at 6:00 p.m. sharp, at Majestic Golf Club.  Entry forms can be obtained at Home for All the Holidays or they can be downloaded from the Lehigh Spring Festival website.

More important dates to note are those of the Spring Festival Pageants.  The deadline for the Baby/Toddler Pageant is 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 14.  The Prince/Princess Pageant deadline is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 7.  And finally the deadline for the Junior Miss/Queen Pageant is on Sunday, February 23.  Contestants for the Junior Miss/Queen Pageant can bring their applications with them that day to the first rehearsal which will be at Footnotes Dance and Music Studio.  Additional information and application forms can be obtained from the Lehigh Spring Festival website.
