Lee County deputies are conducting a death investigation at a home on Clayton Ave. and 10th St.
Early Thursday morning a person was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital for a self inflicted gun shot wound. That person died at the hospital.
However, now detectives on the scene says they do not think it was self inflicted and are now treating it as a death investigation.
Deputies say there is no threat to the community.
Neighbors say a young family with young children live in the home.
They say they were a quiet family, who kept to themselves, never causing any trouble in the neighborhood.
