East Lee County High School TV Production class and the Lehigh Acres Kiwanis got to visit with C-SPAN this morning. This fully operational HD video studio and interactive display bus travels with the USA.
Don Hemming, C-SPAN community representative, was the guest speaker during the Kiwanis Club of Lehigh Acres meeting this morning and talked about C-SPAN and their community outreach programs.
The C-SPAN Bus travels the country to promote and enhance C-SPAN’s extensive resources and public access to the political process. Additionally, the Bus will visit book festivals, high schools, and universities and host students and teachers around the nation, giving them an inside look at C-SPAN’s comprehensive educational and political resources. The students from ELCHS got inside the Bus and learn about what C-SPAN does in the community.
