Judging will be Sunday December 15 so you most register your home by December 8 by calling 239-245-4815 or emailing the Lehigh Acres Gazette at lehighacresgazette@gmail.com your Name, Street Address and Phone Number (rules are simple – you must live in the 143 square miles of the Lehigh Acres Fire District and the property most be able to be seen at the road ).

The Lehigh Acres Gazette has announced Nov 4, 2013 that it is holding its Annual House Christmas Decorations Contest. The Gazette has started a new larger contest since then more and more homes in Lehigh Acres are being decorated outside with all types of items from lights and glitter to religious decorations to almost anything.
The Gazette has brought this new tradition which is bringing people in Lehigh together to vie for the top prizes and also giving the opportunity for everyone to ride around and see the winners’ homes and all the other great decorated homes.

To win a prize, and there are four this year, Robert Anderson, Publisher of the Lehigh Acres Gazette says anyone in Lehigh Acres can nominate a home that he or she thinks deserves a prize. Homeowners themselves are encouraged to enter their home addresses. Encourage neighbors to decorate and nominate them, Baker said.
“The Lehigh Acres Gazette has become the leader in Lehigh Acres news and this contest is just one of many contest to come to Lehigh Acres”, said Anderson. He would like to thank those who are participating during the holiday season, the people who are giving prizes and the people who are taking the time out of their lives to decorate their yards
