June Williams Bateman, 88, of Lehigh Acres, Florida died November 11, 2013. Born in Cornwall Ontario, Canada, she moved to Lehigh Acres with her Husband, Roy in 1971. A Real Estate Professional, June and her husband started “Roy Real Estate,” in 1975, which continued successfully for many years. She continued in real estate with Tannassee Reality Inc., having never retired from the industry she loved. She attended New Assembly of God for over thirty years.
Survivors include a sister-in-law; Helen Bateman, of Lehigh Acres, Florida; a niece; Helen Jo-Anne Knight and her Husband Dr. T.T. Knight Jr. MD., of Beech Mountain, North Carolina; two nephews, Mr. Robert Allebone and his wife Elizabeth of Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada and Mr. Wayne Taylor of Montreal, Canada. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, John Roy Bateman, who died in 1996.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 15, 2013 from 10-11:00 am at New Life Assembly of God in Lehigh Acres, Florida. Funeral services will be held immediately following at 11:00am with the Pastor John Baschieri officiating. Interment will follow at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery.
