Florida Gulf Coast University’s Florida Institute of Government is offering a 2-day workshop in public records management Oct. 28-29, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the FGCU Cohen Center. Cost is $175. Steve M. Lewis is instructor for the workshop.
The program is designed to inform and update public sector personnel about records management and maintenance under Florida law. The workshop content includes new technologies and management systems in the field of records management, and what Florida law mandates in terms of records retention and destruction.
