Laurie Sternowski took the oath of office for the Lehigh Acres Community Council.
The Lehigh Acres Community Planning Panel (LACPP) and Lehigh Acres Community Council (LACC) have officially merged into one group the Lehigh Acres Community Council (LACC).
After an hour of sometimes heated discussion it’s done. With a couple of points that still needed to be worked out, but six of the former LACPP member have become voting members of the LACC. Class of 2014 is Frank LaRosa, Ken Keeler, Laurie Sternowski and Class of 2015 is Steven Conti, Jacqui Hill and Carol Cherigo. Enrique DeAndres will have the appointed seat in the LACC for the Architectural & Zoning Board Subcommittee.
