A head-on collision early Saturday morning in sent three people to the hospital with serious injuries.
Florida Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 3 a.m. at SR-82 and Owen Avenue.
Troopers say a 26-year-old was driving east on SR-82 toward Owen Avenue and tried to turn left in front on an oncoming car that was headed west.
The cars crashed, and all three people involved were taken to Lee Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
Troopers say charges are pending, as they wait for the results of blood alcohol tests.
