Artist, writer, musician Bobbee Cera is exhibiting artwork featuring animals in various art mediums at the East County Regional Library, 881 Gunnery Rd., Lehigh. The Cera exhibit runs until the end of July. Library hours are Monday through Wednesday- 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Thursday-9 a.m. to 6 p.m Friday and Saturday-9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The animal illustrations were published in 2008 in Cera’s book “Wishbones and Miracles” a humorous reflection of her professional entertainment career as a pianist at the New Jersey Shore and some of her personal life lessons. The book is available as an e-book on Amazon.com.
Bobbee Cera, a Lehigh Acres resident, has been a professional piano entertainer for more than fifty years. In addition she has painted animal portraits for clients around the country. Cera is a piano and art teacher, and a lecturer.
Cera is a member of the Arts of the Inland (AOI), and more of her art can be seen at the AOI Gallery Wall at Keiser University, 9100 Forum Corporate Parkway, Fort Myers.
