  1. I was saddened to hear of Curt’s passing. To his family and friends, please accept my sincerest condolences. A wonderful man and a tireless advocate for many military families. He was a strong reminder of what is right about this country.

  2. Beverly, Sammi, & Becca,
I was so sorry to read the news of your Husband & Daddy passing away. One just never knows when God has plans for our loved one to join him. Although we love & need our family members so much, I guess God’s plans & needs are somewhat stronger, as hard as that is for us to believe. I know you all are in pain from this loss, & no words I say can really take that pain from you all. Just know that we, as family, love you & we’re thinking of you during this difficult time. May God embrace you all in his arms & Bless you with his love & prayers. My thoughts & prayers go to each of you & Curt’s other family members as well! God Bless you all & R I P Curt Middleton!
Love you all, Pat (Rice) Walters, Niceville, FL.

  3. I was terribly saddened to hear of Curt’s passing. I had the privilege to work with Curt when he was editor of our local newspaper. He was the driving force behind the only history book ever put together about LEHIGH- “Shared Memories”. The book serves as a testimony of Curt’s love for our community. We often talked about making a second edition. I’ll miss those talks and even more, I’ll miss Curt. My heart goes out to Beverly and the family. May he rest in peace, Amen.

  4. Curt and I were college buddies and housemates back at SUNY/Oneonta (New York) 40 years ago. Curt was a good writer, and always had a interest in everything; history, literature, philosophy, fishing, newspapers, chess, pool, music, you name it. He devoured books, knew everyone at school, and loved a good party. He was a true force of life. And always had a ready smile. He will be missed. My deepest sympathy goes out to Bev, Sammie, Becca, and Jeremiah. Curt’s hundreds and hundreds of emails told me time and again how much he loved you all.
