Lee County Sheriff’ Deputies received a call about a burglary at Sunshine Elementary on Friday morning.
According LCSO the custodian of the school located at, 601 Sara Ave. N. opened the school in the morning and noticed odd activity.
Custodian told the deputies the lights of two portable classrooms, which are usually off, were turned on.
LCSO Deputies say they noticed broken windows in three of the portables.
According to the report the fence behind the portables was also cut.
Deputies said several laptops were missing from the classrooms.
Deputies said, the surveillance video captured a person entering the portables around 10 p.m.
