More than 30 of Florida’s best high school baseball teams will compete for their respective class titles starting today, May 15, through May 23 at JetBlue Park.
It will showcase 32 teams from the Florida High School Athletic Association Baseball Finals, including the contenders for the state championships in 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A, 6A, 7A and 8A.
Lee County has not hosted one of the state baseball finals since 1967. Bringing the event to Lee County was a combined effort of the Lee County Sports Authority, Lee County Parks and Recreation Department, the Red Sox and the Lee County School District.
Parking is $8 daily; admission is $9. No games May 19.
