The need for food is urgent in Lehigh Acres. Our community is experiencing a continued need for food—and this will increase as summer arrives and students no longer have access to school-related food programs. The Lehigh Community Services (LCS) needed the Lehigh Acres community to assist in the “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive on Saturday, May 11.
Lehigh Community Services (LCS) is happy to report because of the people of Lehigh Acres LCS received more than 30,000 pounds of food.
Rae Nicely the Executive Director of Lehigh Community Services said, this day is a huge deal for us at LCS and a very physical activity for post office carriers and the volunteers. But look at what the community has done again it’s amazing.
