According to Lee County Sheriff’s report a 73-year-old woman in Lehigh Acres woke up Monday morning and found a strange man kneeling in the bedroom of her home.
Cynthia Roach said she screamed, and the man looked at her and ran out the front door, according to the report.
The woman told deputies she doesn’t know the man. She described him as about 5’6” tall, wearing jeans and a light-colored hoodie type shirt.Roach said she told deputies she discovered one of her bedroom windows had been pushed open. An undisclosed amount of cash was missing from her purse.
