On Saturday, April 20 community members and organizations participated in a Great American Cleanup Event at Greenbriar Preserve in Lehigh Acres.
In celebration of Earth Day, Keep Lee County Beautiful (KLCB), the Lehigh Community Initiative, and East County Water Control District (ECWCD) have joined together to host a Great American Cleanup event at Greebriar Preserve on Saturday, April 20 .
“This is an area that sees a high level of illegal dumping, partying, and littering; actions which do effect our environment,” said David E. Lindsay, ECWCD District Manager. “We are pleased to work with other community organizations to help reduce these negative impacts on our environment.”
Two Girl Scouts troops 714 and 650, 18 youth from Department of Juvenile and a group from FGCU participated in this Great American Cleanup Event.
