Some of you may know, some may not. We started building a 5700 sq ft wrestling building on the Riverdale High School grounds 18 months ago. The picture shows how far we have come and how far we have left to go. We have been given a deadline for the completion of the building and we are short on time and working on the funds. We need to raise at least $60,000(we have raised $30,000 in the past 4 weeks!) to put a roof on the building by June 1st or it will be torn down-project finished. This project is solely funded by the community/team-(car washes/discount card sales/donations). We have raised $90,000 and we are currently $30,000 short of our goal. We have the activities planned to generate the funds to complete it if they are supported. We need your help to spread the word, build interest, whatever you might be able to do to help would be greatly appreciated. We are so close yet so far and once it is finished it will be an asset to the SWFLA wrestling community. If you are encouraged to do so and believe in the cause you can play cornhole on April 19th, shop the rummage sale on April 20th, “Pin Your Neighbor” (similar to Flock Your Neighbor), buy a BBQ ticket, purchase a discount card from a wrestler, put us in contact with people in the community that are in the construction field(materials and goods), donate directly via Paypal on the website, or just spread the word via Facebook.
