Captain Bookbeard made an appearance at Lehigh Elementary School Thursday Jan 17. The families will visit the Treasure Room to select a book, learn about the Accelerated Reading Program, and hear some special pirate stories. Captain Bookbeard, award winning author Darrell House, will share his experiences as an author through poems, songs, and stories. In addition, children will make finger puppets to be their reading buddies, and families will learn how to practice reading skills with games.
