The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a reported carjacking.
LCSO Deputies responded Thursday night to Ansel Avenue South and Meadow Road and learned from the victims they were hanging out at the Edison State College dorms earlier in the night when two acquaintances offered to pay them for a ride to Lehigh Acres, according to a Lee County Sheriff’s Office report.
The victims decided to take the men to Lehigh and drove to a friend’s house on Ansel Avenue.
The victims said the suspects then pulled guns, robbed them and stole the silver Kia they were in.
The vehicle was later recovered.
