Lee County Elections Supervisor Sharon Harrington was urging county voters to be patient as they faced lines as long as five hours to cast their ballot.
According to Harrington, We just want everybody to be patient. We used the same amount of equipment in 2008. We had some very long lines. I think it’s amazing that people are so anxious to vote. It may take a little while, but we’re going to get you through.
