A driver involved in a crash Friday afternoon is being sought by troopers.
The Florida Highway Patrol says that a motorcycle driven by Ramon Suarez was stopped behind other cars on Lee Boulevard at Westgate Boulevard when a Toyota Camry failed to stop and struck the rear end of the motorcycle.
Suarez suffered minor injuries, but the Camry’s driver fled the scene. The driver was last seen heading north on Alvin Avenue.
The driver is described as a black female in her 40s, with a medium build and long hair.
The FHP asks that anyone who may have witnessed the crash or knows the identity and/or location of the driver contact trooper Richard M. Verbiest at 344-1730.
