The Poker Run will be 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, September 8th 2012 at VFW Post 4174
Donna Martineau is currently on Kidney Dialysis. Although she is listed for a kidney transplant, this process can take years. Fortunately for her Jeanette Smith has stepped forward and is willing to donate a kidney to her.
Martineau’s Medicare will pay for the transplant surgery, but Smith’s day to day living expenses are not covered. Smith will not be able to return to work for as long as three months.
Per Bike $10.00 riders $5.00. Kick stand up at 10:00 am last bike back at the VFW at 5:00 pm there will be 50/50 raffles, food and entertainment. Donations are necessary to ensure the success of this benefit and to ensure the well-being for Smiths recovery.
Checks to be payable to the VFW4174/ Jeanette Smith fund any donations $50.00 or above will have their name appear on the back of the poker run shirts
