A Lehigh Acres man has been arrested after he allegedly stole thousands of dollars of equipment loading it into a U-Haul truck.
Sergio Doran Williams allegedly stole about $5,000 worth of tools and equipment from an unoccupied structure the owner uses as storage space. Security cameras show Williams loading the equipment into a U-Haul truck, according to a Lee County Sheriff’s Office report.
The crime occurred Sept. 2, 2012, and was reported Sept. 4, 2012.Williams was arrested on felony charges of burglary and grand theft Tuesday. Williams remains in Lee County Jail.
