Tropical Storm Ernesto has lost its punch a little. Winds are now at 50 MPH, and it looks to hit the Yucatan and Belize next week as a tropical storm. It will then re-strengthen into a CAT 1 hurricane as it hits the western Gulf.
Tropical Storm Florence has strengthened slightly, but it will lose its intensity in the days to come. It, too, is pushing west.
Neither storm will affect southwest Florida.
