According to the Lee County Emergency Operations Center has announced the closure of shelters located at Dunbar High School, Island Coast High School, and Varsity Lakes Middle School as of 6 p.m.
The general population is still able to shelter at East Lee County High School and the pet friendly South Fort Myers High School.
Special needs populations are still being sheltered at Harborside Event Center.
