Lee County Commissioners today approved a 1.9 million dollar expansion of Veterans Park Recreation Center at 55 Homestead Rd.
The expansion includes construction of phase four to Veterans Community Park, which includes a cricket field (multipurpose field), restrooms, Dog Park, picnic shelters and parking lot. The improvements are going paid for by Lehigh Acres Community Park Impact Fees.
