Homeowners in one Lehigh Acres neighborhood can breathe a sigh of relief.
Fire crews from Lehigh Acres Fire Department (LAFD) managed to extinguish a brush fire that threatened three homes along the 3000 block of 15th Street West.
No one was hurt. Investigators think it started from a lighting strike but not today. The LAFD investigators believe the ground smoldered for more than a day before sparking flames this evening.
