Laura H. Wilson, 91, of Lehigh Acres died Monday, June 4, at Fort Myers Memorial Hospital.
Laura was born in Sandisfield, MA on Feb. 28, 1921, to Frank and Mary Hryckvich. She graduated from Lee High School in Lee, MA and from Pratt Institute Business School in NYC.
While living in Manhattan she met and married Kenneth Wilson on June 28, 1941. They moved to New Jersey where she retired as a department manager for Citizens Bank. They moved to Lehigh Acres in 1983. She was member of the Eastern Star for more than 60 years. She and Kenn enjoyed playing golf, traveling around the country with their clubs. Laura was an excellent senior team golfer, scoring a hole-in-one at Admiral Lehigh Golf Resort on Sept 6, 1997.
She is survived by her daughter Diane Ludin and husband Roger of CA, grandchildren Joyce Warren and Stephen Ludin, four great-grandchildren: Tomas and Liam Ludin and Ryenne and Mikayla Warren, her sister Ann Connor of Lehigh Acres, brothers Nick and Alex Hryckvich, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
A Memorial Service is scheduled Friday, June 8, 3:30 p.m. at St. Anselm’s Episcopal Church, 2201 Sixth St. in Lehigh Acres. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Anselm’s or the American Cancer Society.
