Lehigh Acres fire crews spent Sunday afternoon working to control a 1 and a half acre brush fire on Scott Avenue.
The fire started around 3:00 p.m. and Lehigh Acres Fire and Rescue District responded with four brush trucks, three engines, a Battalion Chief and ambulance.
Two homes were threatened but none were damaged and there were no injuries.
According to Lehigh Acres Fire Battalion Chief, the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
