The second bush fire today was on Binkley Street.
Within minutes, just four miles away for the first fire today, crews responded to another fire on Binkley Street. “I looked over there, there was smoke going, by the time we could call 911, the trees were up ablaze, jumped across the road within minutes,” homeowner Chad Eash said.
Lehigh Acres Fire officials say the first fire at East 12th street and the second fire at second at Binkley Street was about an acre each.
