Sunshine Elementary School hosted Readers of the Caribbean event. With over 350 kids and parents participated in this free family event which included a pizza party sponsored by the Riverdale Kiwanis Club, K-Kids and BJ’s Wholesale Club.
During this fun event the Pirates (including some the Sunshine Teachers) helped primary students succeed in reading while giving parents the tools needed to work with children daily.
