Today with no notice to Lee County officials Babcock started two different prescribed burns this morning. With the winds turning south this morning the smoke filled Lehigh Acres.
The smoke should move out of the area with 24 hours. No smoke warning has been issued but officials have told the Gazette if you have breathing issues today maybe a good day to stay indoors in Lehigh Acres.
