Update:
On Monday, June 9, 2014, at approximately 9:02 P.M., Lee County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the Dollar General located at 701 Gretchen Avenue S., Lehigh Acres, Florida, in reference to an armed robbery.
Two suspects entered the store, with one brandishing a black handgun and one brandishing a silver handgun, demanding money from the cash drawer. The suspects fled the area on foot in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of money.
Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 5’ 10” to 6’ foot tall, heavy build, black hair in dreads, wearing a black shirt, black pants, black tennis shoes, mask, and carrying a silver pistol in his hands.
Suspect #2 is described as a black male, 5’ 10” to 6’ foot tall, heavy build, black hair in dreads, wearing a white shirt, black pants, black tennis shoes, mask, and carrying a black pistol in his hands.
Lee County deputies are looking for two suspects after an armed robbery Monday night.
It happened at the Dollar General Store on Gretchen Avenue and Gunnery Road in Lehigh Acres.
