Voting By Mail (Absentee Ballots) Available To All Florida Residents<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Plan now to take advantage of the opportunity to \u201cvote by mail\u201d in both the August 14th<\/sup> primary election and November 6th<\/sup> general election.\u00a0Florida is one of only a few states that offer voting by mail.\u00a0 \u201cVote By Mail\u201d continues to grow in popularity because of the convenience.<\/p>\n

Lee and Collier county residents are encouraged to contact the Supervisor of Elections office to request ballots for both elections.\u00a0\u00a0 Then sit back, relax and place your vote in the comfort of your own home or office.\u00a0 No voting machines to stress you out and you can take all the time you need to read the ballot and cast your vote!<\/p>\n

A request to receive an absentee ballot by mail must be received by the Supervisor of Elections no later than 5 p.m. on the 6th<\/sup> day before the election.\u00a0 Your ballot must be returned by no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day if the voted ballot is to count.<\/p>\n

In Lee county visit www.leeelections.com<\/a>, click on the forms tab at the top or call 239-533-8683 to request a ballot.\u00a0 You may also write to Supervisor of Elections,PO Box 2545, Ft Myers, Fl 33902.<\/p>\n

In Collier county visit www.colliervotes.com<\/a>, click on the \u201cVote By Mail\u201d box at the top center or call 239-252-8450 to request a ballot.\u00a0 You may also write to Supervisor of Elections, 3295 Tamiami Tr E,Naples, Fl 34112.<\/p>\n

Written requests for Collier county ballots require full name, legal residence address, date of birth and signature.\u00a0 Written requests for Lee county also require a driver\u2019s license number or last four digits of your social security number and a phone number.<\/p>\n
