LCMPO officials ask for locations of traffic trouble spots, the nature of the problem and suggestions.<\/p>\n
In a meeting Wednesday afternoon, members of the transportation committee said sometimes they can tweak the timing of signals and improve traffic flow.<\/p>\n
In other cases, the problems are already being addressed in long-time construction projects such as Homestead Road.<\/p>\n
Wednesday’s meeting was just the first step determining how these surveys will be used to improve traffic flow.<\/p>\n
These ideas will eventually be transmitted from the Metropolitan Planning Organization to the Lee County Commission.<\/p>\n
