Most of the calorie burning in the body occurs in the skeletal muscles so you want to include weight lifting in the exercise routine.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore exercise is one of the most effective treatments for weight related problems.<\/p>\n<p>An Exercise Rx is a detailed list of exercises you should do to stay healthy and should include:<!--more--><br \/>\n1. Some type of aerobic exercise (biking, running, swimming);<br \/>\n2. Weight lifting or using resistance machines or bands;<br \/>\n3. Stretching and flexibility;<br \/>\n4. Agility and balance.<\/p>\n<p>Exercise should be done daily for about 30 minutes. Since there are 1440 minutes in one day,<br \/>\nthere is no excuse for not finding 30 minutes in the day to get some exercise.<\/p>\n<p>Being active is good but this cannot replace formal exercise. It appears that it is the intensity of<br \/>\nthe exercise that really makes the difference. Getting fit involves all the different components of<br \/>\nexercise I mentioned but also includes moderately intense exercise. This should result in a rapid<br \/>\nheart rate, rapid breathing, sweating and an inability to carry on a conversation while exercising. It<br \/>\nis most helpful to put 30 minutes of exercise into your daily planner.
