They will be speaking to us on selecting fruit plants and how to prepare the soil for planting fruit here in Lehigh.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting starts promptly at 5:30pm on Thursday, May 18th at the Veterans Park Recreational Building. A once-in-a-<strong>lifetime<\/strong> membership fee to Veterans Park of $10 per person is required.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>There is no fee for the <strong>Lehigh Acres Edible Gardening Exchange<\/strong>. A free raffle ticket is provided to each member that brings in an item to exchange whether it be seeds, cuttings, plants, fruit, veggies, or a healthy drink or snack.<\/p>\n<p>Note:<\/p>\n<p>The Lehigh Acres Edible Gardening Exchange needs <strong>seed envelopes<\/strong>. Our bank-donated envelopes have run out and Suntrust tells me they can&#8217;t afford to give us any more.
