He was taken into custody Wednesday and remains in custody at the Lee County Jail.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The Lee County Sheriff\u2019s Office has been investigating the March 29 theft from a residence on Mirror Lakes Court when deputies found jewelry matching the description of one of the stolen items that had been pawned at a shop on Palm Beach Boulevard.<\/p>\n<p>LCSO Detectives were able to trace the transaction back to Martinez through a pawn ticket.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cristobal Martinez of Fort Myers is facing burglary and theft charges after deputies say he was involved in stealing more than $30,000 in jewelry from a Lehigh Acres residence.
