Over the years people have had many different ideas of what Easter is. When I was a kid on Easter Sunday we would wake up to a basket full of goodies (kinda like a mini Christmas but only with chocolate) and then get all dressed up and go out to eat.\u00a0 That&#8217;s what I thought Easter was but after I became a Christian I realized what Easter was all about. It was a day to remember that Jesus Christ rose from the dead. He was crucified , then put in a tomb but he rose from the dead. In <strong>1 Corinthians 15:14<\/strong> it says:\u00a0 and if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is vain, your faith also is vain. But because Jesus rose from the dead we can have forgiveness for our sins and be set free.
